The number one premium Shimano spin reel is back and better than ever!

Tested both in Japan and overseas, the new STELLA SW delivers stunning performance. Available in three models offering different gear ratios to fit your preferred fishing style: HG is designed for both casting and jigging, PG is geared for jigging applications and the XG is focused specifically on saltwater casting and topwater use.

Key technology features include improved drag capability from the XXTOUGH DRAG system, better castability via INFINITY LOOP, increased gear strength and durability by INFINITY CROSS and prevention of line trouble via the ANTI TWIST FIN system. Further improvements include an upgraded waterproof seal to the handle knob and larger diameter drag knob helping deliver the ultimate in refined stopping power and smooth performance.

Overview

Built for anglers who expect more when the pressure is on, the Shimano 26 Stella SW 6000HG D brings together exceptional smoothness, refined power and uncompromising saltwater durability.

Designed to face powerful fish in demanding offshore environments, the new-generation Stella SW has been engineered to maintain its composure when the fight gets serious. From the first turn of the handle to the final run of a hard-fighting fish, every movement feels controlled, powerful and remarkably precise.

Its 5.7:1 high-gear ratio delivers an impressive 104 cm of line recovery per handle turn, giving anglers the speed and control needed for active lure work, casting and fast-paced saltwater fishing. Behind that smooth performance is Shimano's advanced gear and drive system, developed to deliver consistent winding power under load.

The 6000HG D strikes an exceptional balance between power, line capacity and manageable weight, making it an ideal choice for serious inshore and offshore anglers targeting species such as snapper, kingfish, tuna and other hard-fighting saltwater species.

With the latest Infinity Loop, Infinity Cross, Anti-Twist Fin, X-Ship and Infinity Drive technologies, the new Stella SW is not simply designed to perform when conditions are perfect — it is built to keep performing when they are not.

When the fish gets stronger, the conditions get tougher and there is no room for compromise, Stella SW is made to answer the challenge.

High rigidity arm cam

Equipped with a metal arm cam, just like the rotor, to increase rigidity. Transmits the power of STELLA SW without distortion, such as when winding line with a high load and during drag running. Smooth surface is maintained for a long period of time by metal plating treatment. This reduces damage to the line.

*Excluding size 4000.

Line roller looseness prevention mechanism

The line roller section, which is the first to catch the pull of a large fish and is applied with force, is equipped with a mechanism to prevent loosening. The bolt that holds the line roller is doubly secured with a set screw to further prevent loosening.

*Excluding size 4000.

CI4+ handle knob

Adopts a handle knob made of carbon material CI4+, which combines high rigidity and light weight.

*Excluding sizes 14000–30000.
*Models in the 14000–30000 size range are equipped with a lightweight hollow oval round knob.
