Adjustment Procedure
This tool is originally adjusted at the factory. After many uses, please follow these instructions, if this tool requires adjusting or you have you own preferences for settings for leverage action and preload settings
1.) Loosen the “Top Set Nut” by turning counter clockwise
2.) Loosen the “Top Set Bolt” by turning counter clockwise
3.) Loosen the “Bottom Bolt” by turning counter clockwise
4.) Then adjust the “Top Set Bolt” to desired preload power and leverage action. Example below:
Tighten the “Top Set Bolt” by turning clockwise;
Narrowing the jaw gap / Raising the handle / Increasing Preload power
Loosening the “Top Set Bolt” by turning counter clockwise;
Widening the jaw gap / Lowering the handle / Decreasing Preload power
5.) Tightening the “Bottom Bolt” by turning clockwise
6.) Finally, fix the tool, to tighten the “Top Set Nut” by turning clockwise
7.) Recheck
