Overview
The Daiwa 20 Infeet 702LRS is a highly versatile light spinning rod designed for finesse lure fishing in estuary, freshwater, and light inshore environments. Measuring 7ft (2.13m) in a two-piece butt-joint construction, it offers an excellent balance of casting distance, sensitivity, and control. Built on Daiwa’s HVF (High Volume Fibre) carbon blank with X45 bias wrap technology, the rod delivers enhanced strength, reduced blank twist, and improved accuracy when casting small lures. Its regular taper provides a forgiving yet responsive action, making it ideal for working soft plastics and small hardbodies with precision while still protecting light leaders on the hookset. Finished with Fuji Fazlite guides, a lightweight Daiwa reel seat, and a split EVA grip, the 702LRS is rated for PE0.4–0.8 and 1–7g lures, making it a true all-round finesse rod for species such as bream, trout, perch, and kahawai.
