In the RX LT series, this is achieved through a newly engineered compact body design that creates a lighter, sleeker reel without compromising strength in key structural areas. At the core of the RX LT is Daiwa’s Tough Digigear system, a digitally engineered and precision machine-cut gearing design that delivers exceptional smoothness, strength, and long-lasting performance. This advanced gearing technology ensures the reel continues to operate smoothly even after extended use. Complementing the reel’s performance is a lightweight aluminium machine-cut spool fitted with Daiwa’s ATD (Automatic Tournament Drag) system. ATD uses specially formulated drag grease that reduces start-up resistance, allowing for smoother and more consistent drag pressure from the instant a fish strikes.

The RX LT also features Daiwa’s Infinite Anti-Reverse technology, which virtually eliminates backward handle movement for more immediate hooksets and improved control. By reducing handle backplay, the system also prevents handle slap-back and unwanted line release. Supporting overall line management is Daiwa’s Twist Buster system, which uses a specially tapered line roller to reduce line twist during retrieves, helping maintain line condition and improve casting performance.
